OHTec Tech Week


OHTec is an industry-led, industry-driven membership organization dedicated to furthering the growth and development of our region’s technology-based businesses. Tech Week is an annual initiative to support, celebrate and engage the local tech community. The original intent was to expand upon the Best of Tech Awards and to increase awareness of the IT industry in Northeast Ohio. Since then, OHTec has expanded their efforts by developing new partnerships to include programming that supports entrepreneurs, executives, students, educators and other stakeholders of the IT industry. College Now Greater Cleveland’s Mentoring Program


College Now Greater Cleveland’s Mentoring Program seeks volunteers to mentor scholarship recipients through their four years of college. The goal of the program is to ensure 80 % of students graduate from college, which is the national average for students of the highest income quartile in the U.S. Mentors have an important role in student success by providing emotional and professional support to mentees. Mentors and mentees connect twice monthly through an online platform, and also at three annual events hosted by College Now in downtown Cleveland. College Now also provides training, support, and advice to mentors and mentees on an ongoing basis.

Station Hope at the Cleveland Public Theatre


Cleveland, OH - On Saturday, April 30th, 2016 our community will come together—to celebrate hope, honor history and inspire change. Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT), in partnership with the City of Cleveland and former Ward 3 Councilman Joe Cimperman, present the 3rd annual Station Hope event— an immersive experience of art and performance staged in and around one of the most historically significant sites in Greater Cleveland, St. John’s Episcopal Church, or—as it was known on the Underground Railroad—“Station Hope,” a last stop for fleeing slaves seeking their freedom across the waters of Lake Erie.
