At the launch of Global Cleveland’s Talent Attraction Campaign on May 1st, Governor John Kasich said the program could become a model for the state. Demonstrating his support of the organization’s talent attraction initiative, JobsOhio President John Minor announced an award of $750,000 to assist Global Cleveland in its efforts. Mayor Frank Jackson also addressed the audience of over 1000 supporters, providing a warm welcome to all current and future newcomers.

The fun, multimedia event celebrated Cleveland and the positive momentum it is currently experiencing.  The evening included international cuisine, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s “Definitive Cleveland Playlist”, and drawings for great Cleveland-related prizes.
