As you may know, the 2016 Republican National Convention (RNC) will be held in Cleveland from Monday, July 18, 2016, through Thursday, July 21, 2016, and we want to show all of our international visitors to the City our support and hospitality. This is an exciting time for the City of Cleveland and a great opportunity to experience this historical event as a Clevelander, a volunteer and an ambassador to our great City.
Do you enjoy meeting new people, greeting people with a friendly smile and a firm handshake, showing your hospitality or just sharing some interesting facts about Cleveland? Then, here’s your chance. In preparation for this weeklong welcoming experience, we would like to offer you an opportunity to volunteer your time to assist with greeting our guest and visitors from various parts of the world to Cleveland.
During the week of the RNC Global Cleveland’s office will be open from 6am-8pm, in order to welcome and provide assistance to our international visitors. We are asking for volunteers to sign up for two shifts during the week. In addition to opportunities in our office, we are assisting a group of international delegates in University Circle, so there will be opportunities to volunteer on the East Side of Cleveland, not just Downtown.
