The enormous growth in the number of residents choosing to live downtown has spurred the Downtown Cleveland Alliance to announce the launch of a crowd funding campaign to create a new dog park in the Flats. The park will be built near the banks of the Cuyahoga River at Settler’s Landing and is conveniently located across from the RTA station on West Superior Avenue – a fitting site for dedicated Clevelanders given it’s the landing site of Moses Cleaveland in 1796!

An online fundraising plan aims to raise $10,000 for the park that will be matched by funds from the Alliance. With an estimated 1,000 dogs living downtown, the park will add a new and welcoming place for Clevelanders and their (furry) best friends.
