Event description: Research shows that most “lucky breaks” come not from people’s close friends, but from their casual acquaintances or what are known as “weak ties” in your social network.

Open and free to all, come with a personal or professional ask, and socialize with attendees from Global Cleveland’s Annual Sister Cities Conference, young professionals from the greater Cleveland area, Global Shapers Cleveland, local leaders, and everyday brewery goers at Masthead Brewery! Each guest brings something they need help with, in hopes that they will “get lucky” and someone at their table can assist them. What are some things that have been requested? A boat, a veterinarian, a good book to read, and even a job!

You will be placed into groups of 4-7 people and asked to rotate into different groups throughout the evening, giving you the chance to connect with many new people. Food and drink purchases are your own individual cost.

Have more questions? Contact our Curator, Elena Stachew, at [email protected] for more information about these events or the Global Shapers Community in general.
