Professional Connection volunteers are matched with an international newcomer (immigrant, refugee and/or international student) based on similar professional backgrounds and interests.

Responsibilities might include:

• Reviewing resume and cover letters, mock-interview practicing, and sharing job search skills
• Possess experience in job searching and hiring practices in Cleveland
• Have a background in Human Resources or a specific industry (for example, engineering) preferred
• Connect newcomers to new contacts and professional networks
• Attend a volunteer orientation and training session at Global Cleveland
