We are putting the finishing touches on the first phase of the garden (including a terrace that is in the shape of France\, a flagpole\, and a sign) and would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the occasion!  The dedication will take place in conjunction with the opening of a new exhibit\, “Monet in Focus” of five Monet paintings that are going to be on loan to the Cleveland Museum of Art this summer.  Come join us for the festivities…all of which are free! 1:00-1:30 PM: Dedication Ceremony and Reception in the Cleveland Museum of Art Private Dining Room 1:30-2:00 PM: VIP Shuttle Bus to the French Garden (weather permitting). Meet the dwindling number of Ukrainian athletes as they prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris\, while trying to survive Russia’s violent invasion of their country. The war in Ukraine is seen through a unique lens in ATHLETES OF WAR\, a tribute to both the determination within all athletes and the plight for Ukrainian liberation from Russian forces. This documentary views the war through the experiences of Olympic athletes and their families. Theirs was a mission of honoring their country in sport\, and when the invasion began\, their duty to the country came into further focus. DESCRIPTION:Since 2010\, the Cleveland International Hall of Fame (CIHF) has inducted people who have made significant and lasting contributions to our multicultural society. Cleveland is home to people representing about 120 different ethnic groups. The CIHF exists not only to honor those special people but also to inspire a new generation of leaders to follow in their footsteps. \n2024 Class\nThe 2024 Class of the Cleveland International Hall of Fame will be inducted on Tuesday April 23\, 2024 at Windows on the River. Doors open at 5 PM and the event starts promptly at 6PM. Over 90 worthy candidates were submitted to be considered. Previous inductees of the CIHF were asked for input and a committee worked hard to whittle that number down to the 6 in the 2024 Class. And what a Class it is!
